Once I realized that the quantity of food consumed during the day had no relationship to my snacking at night, I simply made my evening meal shortly prior to bedtime. Of course Keto coffee (with coconut oil) gives me energy during my typically active days. I’m not sure I could have accomplished all that I have healthwise without Dr. Mercola’s Cron-o-meter and sage advice. And surely I could never do Ketogenic eating without education and the proper tools. Additionally, I always begin each day with plenty of water and a handful of vitamins and supplements. My goto snack following the prerequisite 12-16 hours is a hard-boiled duck/chicken egg; by then I’m usually planning the evening meal. Somehow, this works well for me, additionally, the Ketogenic diet keeps all my blood levels within normal ranges and my weight seldom varies more than two pounds week after week.

My hands are busy and my mind fully engaged so there’s no craving to snack. I only watch TV or movies on the weekend, and then I plan my snacks specifically ie hummus and veggies, air popped popcorn, etc and portion it out before I sit down to watch.
